"Dear God, please PLEASE help me learn how to read. I really want to know how and read all the books. Please God. Amen."

Coming from a child who just three months ago hated the thought of learning, this is HUGE.

I cried I was so happy.

These past 3 months have been crazy busy for me. But as of today I finished all my clients orders and sessions for the year. I am officially on break. I have a session on the 18th coming up but that's not related to Christmas so that is good. I am done with Christmas pictures, Christmas cards, Christmas gifts, etc!!!

Since I have been so busy it has been hard to actually find time and visit stores. I found a new addiction. Online shopping! Cyber Monday became a new National Holiday for me ;) Hey I am just helping the economy. Right?

One of my favorite places to shop this year is the CSN Store! They have everything! I looked for a wooden kitchen for my kids... Bingo! A new watch for my husband... Bingo! One step shopping - Gotta love that! They seriously carry everything from towels to TV stands for flat screens.

Twelve Days to Christmas Giveaway - FAQ

Welcome to my Twelve Days to Christmas Giveaway. Tomorrow is Day One.

Before we get started let's get some questions out of the way.

When will each giveaway be posted?
I will try my best to post each giveaway here on my blog by 9pm.

How do I enter?
Each Day I will let you know what the giveaway is and how to go about to get it. There will be a paypal button on the bottom of the post for each one.

Can I win multiple days?
Yes you can. But you can't combine them. For example. One Day I might have a 20% off a sitting fee and the next a $50 off print credit, you can't combine them in one session. You can book two sessions though and receive your price for each session.

Can I switch my entry?
No you can't. Just plain and simple it wouldn't be fair to everyone else or me.

Does that mean the biggest price will be posted on the 12th day?
No. I won't tell you when I am posting the biggest price or what that might be, but I gurantee you it won't be on the 12th day.

one picture out of 120 - Cincinnati Family Photographer

Three failed attempts + over 120 pictures + countless tears = ONE picture!

One picture of both boys, both smiling, both looking happy and cute!

This one is an out take.




A very cute one I might add.

Funny how the photographer has a hard time photographing her own children. But for clients give me 30 minutes and I come up with the most gorgeous pictures!

Well our pictures are done, next up is ordering the cards, then addressing them and last but not least sending them out.

I am a little behind but Heinrich will make sure I finish them up by next week.

In the past I have ordered my personal cards from Shutterfly. I love love LOOOOVE the quality and the great designs Shutterfly has to offer.

I am also going to order few of these super cute calendars. Shutterfly also ships super fast and I will be able to send them out very soon. Or maybe I should get Scot one of these mugs with a picture of Heinrich. Shutterfly has so many photo gift ideas to offer, that I am sure I will find something.

There are tons of great designs to choose from. Now if I could just make up my mind of which one to get.

I promise I will share the finished product!

Our House Guest

We currently have a house guest. He arrived on Dec 1st and hopefully will leave Dec 24th.

His name is Heinrich.

He is here to watch us and report back to Santa.

Sometimes he hides for a few hours and then pops up in a new spot.

Jakey is trying really hard to figure out how he moves. But everyone knows that Heinrich moves when no one is watching him.

He also plays pranks on us. The TV remote control (= "clicker" what it is called in our house), toys, keys, wallets & kitchen utensills are sometimes missing and we know it is Heinrich.

Heinrich also watches out that we get everything ready for Christmas. He was very happy today when he saw we decorated a tree but was a little mad because not only is our tree fake this year but also small! He left for a few hours but Jake just found him next to the Goldfish bowl.

He is on me everyday for baking christmas cookies. I told him this week.





This is going to be a loooong month with Heinrich!

This morning I got to hung out with a friend and her two very adorable boys.

Just following them around and taking pictures. I got to play trains and hold a little baby...

While in the Carolinas I had the pleasure of doing mini sessions.

This Family are dear friends of ours and Finn's godparents. I love how these pictures turned out.
